Three days of silence, salt lakes, and ancient springs at one of Egypt's most remote and sacred oases.

Journey through the Western Desert to Siwa — a convoy drive that itself becomes part of the experience. Check in to your eco-room at Shali Lodge, rinse the road dust in the natural hot spring of Taghaghien, and gather at dusk for a welcome Berber dinner under the date palms. Sherouk opens the retreat circle: sharing intentions for the three days ahead.
“Siwa doesn't welcome you. It absorbs you. ”

Morning meditation at sunrise beside the ruins of Old Shali, then a guided walk through the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, where Alexander the Great once sought prophecy. Midday float in Siwa's turquoise salt lake — denser than the Dead Sea, impossible to sink. The afternoon is yours: journal in the shade of the palms or take a solo walk through the groves. Evening breathwork session, then a gathering around fire with Berber music.
“The lake holds you the way a decision finally made holds you — without effort. ”

Rise before dawn for a 4WD ride into the Great Sand Sea, arriving at Bir Wahed as the horizon turns amber. A final guided meditation on the dunes as the sun crests the sand. Sandboarding before breakfast, then a closing circle back at the lodge — sharing what you are carrying home. Convoy departs after a long, slow lunch.
“There is nothing between you and the horizon but the fact that the earth curves away. ”
